Hello,
Just want to get some advice. Are switching to braided brake lines worth it to improve braking for daily driving? I am planning on doing a regular replacement of brake disc and drums parts, not upgrading because I don't have that much money.

If you dont have that much money upgrading to braided isn't gonna be the most cost effective braking mod. It does take some of the sponge out of the pedal becasue braided doesnt' expand like OEM does, but that and added duarability is about all you will get.
