Default brake grease

I'm about to replace my rotors and pads, and was wondering if I could just use the high temp grease from walmart or do i need a specific brake grease?

Also, is there anything else I should grease while down there besides the back of the break pad? (is it the back of the pad or back of the shim?)

Don't take my word for it but I would think any grease. I personally think its just to make the job easier, not exactly a requirement. But, I could be wrong.

My ceramic pads from Satisfied (bought on Amazon) came with "high pressure moly grease" for lubricating the caliper pins.

You can just buy "caliper grease" at the auto parts store.

Rather than greasing the backs of the pads, get some Disc Brake Quiet Gel like from "CRC" (orange/pink stuff). That will help to keep the brakes quiet.

I also remember the instructions for my pads saying to run a greased finger around the edge of the caliper piston.
