RE: brake pedal goes to floor
describe better...does it come back up? Or did it just plain drop? Is the car able to stop? Did it make a buzzing noize? Do you have ABS?

RE: brake pedal goes to floor
Are you holding it down and it gradually sinks?
If so, then you have air in the brake lines which needs to be bled out. Take it back to the shop that did the work. |
RE: brake pedal goes to floor
If it didn't do this before the shop had it then something is wrong.

RE: brake pedal goes to floor
If you can sit at a stop with your foot on the brake, and it gradually falls to the floor, then the master cylinder is probably f'ed

RE: brake pedal goes to floor
I'm gonna agree with every1 else that if it didn't do it before and it does it now then take it back to the shop and demand they fix it. If the pedal drops while you have your foot on it, then chances are that one of the seals inside the M.C. is leaking causing the pedal to drop. Pretty much your M.C. is bad.

RE: brake pedal goes to floor
Bottom line: it didn't do it before it was in the shop so TAKE IT BACK.
Common sense... |

My husband replaced the pads, rotors and the calipers on the front. The car is still not braking. They have been bled and the back brakes are fine. Any reason why the brakes are still not working?
