Default brake problems

i am having a problem with my brakes on my winter car(97 dodge stratus 2.4L,does not have ABS,drums in rear and disc's up front) i know its not a honda but brakes are all around the same when it comes to functions and what not! well heres the prob, the one day i lost my brakes i had no pedal so i figured a line blew or the rear wheel cylinder went so i looked at at and no fluid was leaking i couldnt find any leaks the rez. was still full then i took a look at the fronts they were fine but then i drove it around again and the car was pulling to the left pretty hard only when stopping. so thought it was the passenger side caliper bought new one and replaced bled the front fluid was coming out good caliper was moving good and working properly took it for another test drive still same problem no pedal and the car was pulling to the left but not as bad! so now im stumped! someone told me it might be the master cylinder or brake booster but if it was the booster that still wouldnt explain the pulling>? if anyone could help me out it would be great!

Might as well be two separate problems, btw. And, if there is no leak anywhere, I would blame the master cylinder for the major problem and fix it first. Then go from there...

yep, check the master, then the porportioning valve (or balance valve) that ditributes your brake fluid to your 4 brakes.
