Broken Rear LCA bolt
Sure enough, when I was putting on my new springs, the head of the bolt where the LCA connects to the strut came right off. The other bolts came out fine though.
I picked up a new LCA and new struts. For now, I'm using a bolt that matched the size of the original one that I found from pepboys. Will this work fine? Or should I get a factory bolt to put in there? |
You want the OEM bolt. It's way stronger than any garbage pepboys has. Though you will pay about $10-12 for one.

Thanks |
Dealer would probably be the fastest, ordering online will only save you a couple bucks probably..
|
You don't want to order that online. They'll rape you with shipping. They use a pretty flat-rate system and you'll end up paying $10 shipping just for a couple bolts.

This happened to me once, after the bolt broke i replaced with another one off the shelf,
50 miles latter it broke. Get a OEM one. |
I just got a grade 8 bolt off the shelf and have been fine but you would want to go with a grade 8 for sure.
