Default broken wheel tud help.

the whole thing just fell off along the road. i was like [sm=wtf.gif]
just bought the tud and new nut from stealership.
well, they quote me 150 bucks to put it in. sighz
Can i do this on my own? the Hayes repair manual shows how to do this?

You can of course. You have to disassemble the whole thing though - remove rotor and hub, that's why they want 150 for labor. I saw a thread somewhere about doing this without removing the hub, but I personally did not like the fact that it required some grinding of your knuckle, if I remember correctly. So I would stick with traditional way

yes itss FRONT. you were right, you see the brake caliber? lol
so I just need the tools right"?

as i was taking my lug nug out. there is one sticking so hard. i cant get it out!
i cant get it OUT!
so i used the torque wrench @ 90 ft/lbs torque, BAMM
it came out, the nug and the stud! great!
here is the pic!
what is wrong? 2 in a row!! i just autocrossing 2 times!!! wtf!!!!
I will change all 4 tomorrow! dont know what happened....

Do you always tight your lug nuts yourself? Looks like they were overtightened.

i have to take it to the shop then,
I cant get the 2 bolts out. i need an impact. geez
thank you guys. i cant do a DIY on this. damn it!

Sure you can, if you calm down a bit
What bolts you are talking about? If the ones that hold brake caliper, you just need a tight socket and stiff long handle. A bit of penetrating oil applied to the right place would not hurt either.

And with lug nuts - you need to re-think how you tighten them...
