Okay you got me, I didn't read the entire thread...
You know why? Because it went off topic and I didn't feel like sorting out the important stuff from the BS.

And I wasn't talking about right now, I meant in the future to know the aspects of the Civic you are talking about before you recommend a large wheel size or say it will be okay, if you think about doing so. Basically advice for future reference, because I suspect that you wouldn't recommend someone against a large rim size if that's what they were thinking about getting.

I'm not ripping on anyone personally. When I see a ricer in a Civic it makes me cringe and ruins that moment of my day because then I realize that person driving that riced out Civic is one of the people out there ruining Honda's reputation, and I have to feel the heat for that sometimes.

The point was that what you said about me acting like we drive supercars and that i'm somehow doing something wrong by putting wheels on my car that are close to the factory size is incorrect.
Also the point was that functionality is what a car is all about. If your car can't drive over speed bumps or drive over a small pothole without damaging something because all you care about looks and it's slammed to the ground with big *** rims and no sidewall, then your car isn't much of a car as much as it is just something to look at and attempt with horrible failure to drive in common everyday situations.

OP: now that I have read the entire thread...
I have the Falken ZE-512's you're talking about. I love them, they are great tires. I recommend them. I chose them over the Hancook Ventus in the same situation you are in and from the same site.

yeah ever since I found out about discounttiredirect I've only used them. bought 4 nitto neogen's for about $290. If I bought them at a local place they'd probably charge $400+tax.

+1 for trusts Ricer definition....they care about how the car looks, not about the car itself.

And the machined look is better IMO.......and I think it could look pretty cool if you paint the silver black...

So My rims are on there way. they said they will be mounted and balanced. So i dont need to get them balanced, just put on the car and a front end alignment. Do i need to get a front end alignment?

They had them rims only in a color i didnt want, so i got these in red.

Those aren't bad, they should look pretty sick!

And if you ever don't like the color check this out: http://www.civic-eg.com/viewtopic.php?t=2

Those red wheels look sick. And as for the drags, I like the all gold better myself. Not really into mesh to much though, even though they look nice on the right car.
