Question ? Camber Kits

about 2 weeks ago i just got suspension installed. dropped it 1.5". My mechanic keeps on mentioning to me that i should get a camber kit. other people say just to get an alignment.
suggestions????? is a camber kit needed badly???? and also does the brand of the camber really matter?? ebay got alot of camber kits!
anyone?

also what else do you guys suggest i should i add to my suspension to have a smooth ride and also to make the car last longer and get rid of old parts little by little. I only want to get what is most important things right now.

so far the only thing done to the suspension was brand new tokico illuminas shocks, and springs, new inner tie rods, rear strut bar and front strut bar.

people have told me camber kit (front& back) but im not sure if BRAND matters, arm bushings, Energy Susp Link Bushings, rear lower control arms, suspension boots, ????
what is the most important thing right now? any one help?

I'm pretty sure for a 1.5" drop you're good, and don't need a camber kit. You should be good with just an Alignment.

what do you mean so your suspension performs good? Do you want to autox? Do you just want something smooth for dd? Do you want to dump it? How much are you willing to spend? what do you have done now?

well the car is a 1996. it has been about 12 yrs, and still has stock parts. my goal is to, update parts pretty much.
i mean running the car for 12 yrs with stock suspension..i think is about damn time. you know.
anyway so far the only thing done suspension wise. is new shocks, spings, and inner tie rods, also new motor mounts. thats it. my question is, should i change anything else that is attached with the springs, shocks, or w/e to have a better driving performance. im not racing not drifting none of that. i just drive.

theres no need to go crazy with updates. Just start looking around under the car. Check all the boots/ bushings and whatnot and see if any are torn or busted up. If so replace them. If youre just looking for something that drives nice just stick with the new shocks and sprincs you have and call it a day. What shocks and springs did you get?
