civic ex or integra rear disc for 88 crx....
Well I was talking about the parts i needed for my rear disc swap to someone i knew from my local junk yard and he said that its easier to swap the rear disc brakes off of a 92-95 civic to my crx than it rather than a 90-93 integra, in order to swap them onto my 88 CRX HF....which is it I mean this is the first time ive heard of using 92-95 civic rera discs to do the job just wondering since theres an ex down there and i gots money in my pocket burning a hole through my wallet...either for an engine or this swap and im thinking swap is better for me so yea just wondering which is better to deal with???

RE: civic ex or integra rear disc for 88 crx....
I had a 91 crx dx and when i did the rear disc swap i used a swap from a 1996 LS integra. It was very easy everything just bolted right up. The ebrake linewaslong so at first i just looped it around and it worked great until i got the proper line off an Si. I got mine on ebay complete for around 160 shipped. When i did this i bought basically the full rear suspension minus the shocks. I am just did this again on my 91 civic Siand have found if you use the parts from the 90-93 integra you can just bolt up the actual brake assembly by itself....much easier...cheaper....and less parts to deal with...look around ebay you can get a great deal...i have never heard of the 92-95 swap but i can assure you any swap from an integra in my experience is very easy.
Hope that helps
