hi guys i hope you can help.

( i have added this in another section as people my be able to help from both topics )

i have noticed over the last few week a loud clunking noise when i pull away and brake to stop the car. the clunk is only there once as i pull away rather than a constant noise it just comes as i pull away just 1 loud clunk that can be heard inside or outside the car and again i have the same effect when braking 1 loud clunk. the noise is sometimes heard when taking a corner or hitting a bump in the road but this a rare.

my car is a 2006 civic.

has one came across this before or does anyone have any idea what it could be.

Crawl under the car and check for a bad strut or ball joint.

 

i have checked, it is neither of these things infact the car has only pasted its MOT in the last 2 weeks.
