Default coilover adjustment

hey i just noticed that one of my rear coilovers is slightly higher than the other. I counted the ridges and I have 9 on one side and 8 on the other. Is this a big deal or should I go through the trouble of adjusting it?

i would say it's not a big deal
but if you're obsessive compulsive though about that kind of stuff, like i am, it will bug you and you'll adjust it even if it doesn't make a difference
lol

i don't want to go through the trouble and risk that chance of messing it up further.
I think theres like 1/8 of an inch difference.

QUESTION.... have you gotten a alignment since you first adjusted the coilovers? if YES then leave it alone. IF NO then just adjust it alittle more if you want and then go get a 4wheel alignnment ASAP!

balancing does nothing but get rid of some vibrations alignment is whats important. i wouldnt touch the coilovers then! even a small fraction will effect your tire wear and sooner than you know it your tires are worn badly in the rear!

so the 1 ridge difference of about 1/8 of an inch shouldn't matter much?

^exactly
when you sit in your car you lower the driver side of the car just a little bit.
the 1/8" off coilover is about equivalent to the effect of having the weight in your car slightly unevenly distributed, which is probably always.

ya what ever the car was aligned to is what matters... the car maybe slightly up on that one tire BUT REALLY one turn is just a fraction... not with it IMO unless you want to pay for another alignment...

thanks a lot - and luckily the higher side is the gas side so it probably balances it self out. thanks again
