craking noise when turning or braking... help please
I have a 92 civic sedan w/ manual transmission and it is making a loud cracking noise then i turn or brake around the front wheels...does someone know what it might be???
not in a while but i am gonna have it done soon... the problem is that it also does it when i am turning... that is y i am not sure that it might not be the brakes
Could be a bad tie rod bushing. Put the front end on jack stands, remove both front wheels, and inspect the front suspension components for excess free play and the brakes for damaged or worn pads and rotor.
yeah... it sounds like bad brakes to me man, my moms car was making a a scraping noise when she would brake and turn, she needed new pads, rotors, and even calipers cuz she let her brakes go so long the calipers froze up.
well i went get it checked out and it was that some rubber pieces which i think are called bushings were worn and torn... so i got it fixed and it doesnt make the sound anymore. thanx for the help
