Default curious question??

Is it ok for a civic to only have the front end dropped? Here's my dilema... the gap between the front tire and fender is bigger than the gap between the rear tire and rear fender. I just want to close that gap in the front and make it smaller than the gap in the back so it doesn't look like I'm 4x4'ing. I guess I want to know if it's ok to have custom springs/shocks or whatever in the front and stock suspension in the back?

Yea it wont hurt anything but I would buy coil overs ajustable and go that route. Dont customize you stock springs thats bad.

To start, I dont believe in cutting springs. But I did it as a temporary fix today. I cut my front springs to close my front wheel gap. I am actually impressed how it came out. It looks good, rides the same as it did before, and it only rubbed on hard corners (which I fixed). The only problem is that my alignment is screwed. But that will be fixed tomorrow. But for a long term fix, do it right. Adjustables or drop springs.

Cutting your springs is dangerous. Just simply get aftermarket springs.

I would not suggest lowering only the front end. Lower both the front and back. After-market springs come in sets of 4 anyway.
