I believe you can run s-techs on stock shocks.

i got my s-techs for 140ish shipped, and i used my stock struts, exept that one had a cross threaded nut on the top, so i had to cut it off. so now i have aftermarket struts on the back.

How much farther did it lower your car when you first put them on? I am looking for a 1.5 to 2" drop.

Look at Nuespeed or Skunk2(not sure if they have app. for 7th gen) they give a good 2" drop, RS*R gives us 1.6" drop, and I think Tanabe gives 1.75".

But yeah cutting is begging for a disaster.

You could get some Progress drops springs as well. For a 7th Gen they drop 2 in the front and 1.75 in the ***. Great company as well. I don't really give two ****s what you do as long as you don't cut those stock springs.
