do i have to roll my fenders?

hey i got 17 inch rims with 45 tires, i'm looking to go with 1 finger gap or no finger gap in the rear. Please account speed bumps and minor flaws in the road, do i need to roll my fenders? If i don't what could happen?

RE: do i have to roll my fenders?

yes you will more than likely rub with a drop on 17's and if you don't roll your fenders they will start tearing away rubber from your sidewalls

Why is miss-information like this allowed. We don't even know what year this guys car is.... we don't know what kind of wheels he has.
With the proper sized wheel and tire, you won't even need to get near you fender's.
What are the dimentions of your wheels burgernuds? (width and offset are most important)

Its more less a trial and error situation. Depends if your suspension is hard or soft and how bad the roads are that you travel. I would almost have to think you will rub with 215's beings I rubbed with 205's but alot of it depends on the width and offset like said before. Drop it down and try it and if it rubs either modify things or lift back up till it doesn't rub anymore.

i've got 205/40/17"s with Tein S-Techs (1.7" rear drop, 1.9" front drop), and i rarely scrape......of course it has happened from time to time and some big pot holes and super steep hills, but normally i am perfectly fine.
