Default Drivers side wheel squeaking? Help asap please!

99 civic hatch with type-r swap done to it just so you know, picking it up tomorrow, but the front drivers side wheel squeaks when its turned. The owner is givign me a whole new rod setup inthe packaging as he is not sure whats wrong with it. I was wonderign if any of you would have any idea what could be wrong and causing it to squeak, it gets pretty loud. This is a priority to be fixed, like I want to fix it after I pick it up tomorrow. Anyone got any advice/help? Thanks!

You are going to want to check the CV joints, particularly the one closest to the wheel. When they wear out they make some wierd noises when you turn. Check to see if the boot is broken, if it is broken the CV joint is prolly fried.

thanks, the seller is including a new throw rod brand new fromt he factory if that happens to be the problem. IT only happens when the wheel is turned, wondering how much this would cost for parts and (labor if I can't doit myself) worst case scenario? Thansk for the replys, I appreciate it...

$75 for the part + an hour of labor? $80. Thats like $150 so expect to pay between $150 and $200 installed. But first make sure that the axle is actually bad. If the boot isn't ripped then it should be fine (unless the joint was bad and the owner replaced the boot but i don't think thats too likely). Check the tie rods as well for wear, they might not even be bad.
