EK... civic type r and 1400cc civic differance?
hi guys does anyone know the differance between the EK civic type r and ur average civic 1400cc as i want to make my civic look roughly the same All i wanna know is; is the civic type r 40mm lower and what wheels do they usualy ride on? .... many thanks
If its white then think its white 15's, all other colours, black, red, yellow have silver rims, they ride a little lower than normal EK's and also come with a lip/skirts kit. Just dont put any red badges or type-r stickers on it tho, well unless ur puttin the bad *** B16B in there!
im not gonna put any type r stickers on id look like a muppet at the lights being dusted by other civics
, i just like the look of the type r. so does anyone know if its 60mm or 40mm lower than the standard ek civic???? ... thanks

you do realize you're only giving 3 minutes between posts right? patience.
as i said before...60mm is an awful lot, its about 2.5 inches. 40 is about 1.75 and is more reasonable. im pretty sure thats about what snipers is lowered to.

Your from the uk right? cheapest option for a full suspension upgrade (springs and dampers) would be a gmax or pi kit, both offer 40mm drops but are not adjustable hence the lower price, they are much better than just having a set of lowering springs though. expect to pay £220- £250.
If you want adjustable damping etc your gonna have to pay out for a spax (like ive got
) or koni kit, then your looking at £400- £550. And for a tein set etc...well dont expect much change from a grand!
