Default Gor summer wheels in :D

just thought i'd share (copied from a local forum i use, too lazy to edit out the acura cl)

ordered a set for my hatch and one for the lady's CL. didn't want her to run another summer with snow tires on otherwise the tires only last a year so i decided to order us both a summer set now. this way i can take off my winter snow tires also

ordered off jlb motorsports from honda-tech for 1250 shipped (which i think is a good price) mounted and balanced with lug nuts included. i basically asked him to get me the cheapest set up possible so i was looking for 16x7 or 17x7 for her so he recommended the konig britelite in 17x7 which is cheap and simple and looks decent.

then for me he gave me three options 15x6.5 rota torque or konig countersteer or he can do 16x7 rota grid for the same price as long as i go with green with polished lip. since i can always paint over the rims eventually, i opted to go with the wider, and hence better handling and grip, rota grid even though i personally hate the color green. for now, i'll stick with it until i burn through the rubber and eventually i may paint it. however, it does look decent i think lol (and i washed my car too )

after i threw on the wheels on her cl, it looks super high, makes me want to drop her car but i know she won't be able to drive it without destroying the new exhaust i just put on for her......

well here are the pic:

my car will be slammed soon hopefully, hers....probably never lol

she bottoms out enough at this height and if i lower it i'll have to say bye to the new exhaust i just put in for here lol

yeah, still haven't been able to replace my spoiler that was stolen with my car, stuff keeps popping up as priority and haven't been able to afford the little stuff... and for the green, i'll paint it myself after i burn through the rubber, didn't want to dismount it and waste the free mount and balance i got

oh good, because i was just about to say that the green doesn't look very good.

Acura needs a moderate drop. check out H&R OE Sport springs... should get rid of a little bit of wheel gap for you but still be mostly stock looking... as in you wouldn't know it were lowered if you looked at it, you'd think it was suppose to come that way from the factory.
