?? got a prokit, do I need anything else?

I'm not too into cars, but I just wanted to make mine look nicer. Anyway, I got an eibach prokit and my friend said that's all I need, I won't need shocks or anything. So my question, will everything be good with just the prokit and everything else stock, since it is only a 1" drop.

Get some aftermarket shocks (tokico, kyb, etc). Your stock shocks weren't made to support your car at that height (even if only 1 inch). They would blow sooner than they were meant. Save urself theheadache down the line...

You might need a camber kit also.

your suspension will be fine, with a one inch drop and moderate driving conditions, your suspension will last the same amount of time. it's not necessary to replace your struts, but you can if you want an improved ride. a camber kit is not necessary either, you can, but it's not required. take it to a good alignment shop and you'll be fine. if necessary, you can do the diy washer trick in the rear since that is where a lot of wear occurs because there's no weight in the rear of the car. so the rear end just bounces around and causes the camber wear to be twice as bad. just toe it in a little bit up front to compensate for the camber. some people will tell you that it needs a camber kit for any type of drop, but frankly, but you can decide what to do.

I put Pro-Kits on my EJ8 and had a bit of wheel rubbing front and rear. I have 16x7 wheels w/40mm offset. I had a local shop roll the fenders (and cut the frontfender liners) for $100. Now it works great. I also didn't need a camber kit - it was actually still at -1.0 degrees at three of the wheels and only -1.2 at the right rear.
