Hi there, Im from UK and i wanna get a civic 1.5 LSi 1996-97 but i got lots of questions about it and one of them is "Is the handling of civic 1.5 lsi 1997 good with its own original suspension?" I really need your help cos i was thinking of getting Fiesta Zetec-S 2001 but i really like the look of Civic. Thanks!!!

 

yeah, the handling is ok, but with a set of sway bars and a decent set of tires, youll love it.

 

yeah, i would definately recommend putting the swaybars on as well. On my BMW, both links broke, and I almost got into an accident a few times, because of the rear end sliding out. Of course it's RWD, so swaybars are crucial, but I would think that they will improve civic's handling as well, along with adding some safety.

 

it changed the whole character of my car whe i added the rear one, it will do some nice off-throttle oversteer slides now.

yeah, freakin on-demand oversteer in a FF. hella fun to bust out at auto-x. the announcer couldnt believe it. hehe. i was watchin the tape and you could hear him sayin how inpressive it was.
