16's look the same as 17's, with a drop you don't need huge rims, 18's will give you a "go-kart" feel to your car which sucks, 17's won't be as bad, but they still suck, especially with a drop, and 16's with a drop will give a very nice performance/comfort balance.

Ummm, I had 17's and I thought they were too big. I went to 16's. So, If you're asking between 17 and 18, 17 ftw.

trust me on this

my buddy was selling 205/40/18 and i put them on my eg civic (95 ex coupe), i made a right turn and it rubbed my fender, my car wasnt lowered at all and this happend so i took it off lol

go with 205/40/17, best bet, i would suggest 205/45/16, ride will be better and your brakes wont fail due to too much diameter difference.

a 17 is the biggest rim you can have on a civic (older ones...EG, EK, EF, etc) without the tire actually being bigger than stock. You can roll the hell out of your fenders and get some spacers and the 18s wont rub so much, but it'll have a monster truck stance

Get 16's, 17 MAX. 18's look goofy. I got 17's on mine and I think they look perfect. They're still borderline too big though.
