Honda civic Enkei 4 stud type-r replica's
Hi guys I currently own a Honda civic 2005 5dr 1.6 ivtec SE in black, similar to the picture below shown:
http://images.carmony.co.uk/images/s...andard_1_c.jpg I was wondering if anyone knows if I can fit the 16 inch enkei type-r replica alloys which are in 4 stud on my car without any serious adjustments. Current alloys: http://www.wheelstotheworld.com/site...els/W63846.jpg alloy’s wanted: https://i.ebayimg.com/00/$(KGrHqZ,!j...g0Hg~~0_12.JPG P.S: I went to an alloy place and they said I can put on 17” without any problems. Does anyone know of a 17” alloy which looks extremely similar to a Honda type-r alloy or does anyone know where I can purchase the above alloys wanted if they fit on my car perfectly? |
The car in the picture is 5 lug, the rim you show is 4 lug, no go. But if your current are 4 lug like the other picture then you should be fine.
You could easily have those size rims, but you need the right lug spacing and know width of the rim (you might need to get spacers). |
ok cheers didn't notice that small detail, good eyes, current lug size is 4 lug so should fit on perfect then, and you say i'd need spacers if i got 17"'s with correct measurement to accommodate for that.

Honda _ Vehicle Bolt Pattern Reference And the diameter of the tire is not the issue, it is the width. Some rims need spacers on the lugs between the rim and the car itself otherwise your tires could hit the inside of the car or the brakes, i am not sure if I am really explaining it that well but.... ya.... either way spacers are as easy as taking the wheel off and putting it on. But sometimes if you need a spacer you will need to roll the rims, but not always. |
Ahh ok will look into that hopefully the alloy's which i've now found and bought hope they fit without any problems but thanks for the information I understand what you are saying :D
