How Low?
 
How low will i be abe to go on a 99 civic with 17"s w/ 205/40/17 without the fenders rubbing??

you should be able to go 2inches with no problems, maybe a little lower. i have stechs and 16/205/45, i have no rubbing to VERY litle in a tight turn.

you call two inches low, wow idk whatur thinking but i dont even have a body kit r anything so 2' aint nothing really but ill probally end up droping it 2 to 2.25 anyways

make sure you MEX it out with putting spacers on 8"X7" wheels.
that will look freakin boss!!![:'(]

Dude if ur not gonna help me then keep ur damn mouth shut!! I was trying to be nice but damn i didnt come on this site to hear people like u just runnig ur mouth!! And if i want to mess my car up with hitting the **** out of a pothole then i will!! If i didnt want to take that risk then i wouldent have asked!! 6th gen civics the tein s-techs with 1.9F/1.7R works the best with 205/40/17. that's my setup, as well as many other civic owners with 6th gen civics. PERFECT drop...not TOO low where u have to slow down to 1/2 mph to go over cracks in the road, but not sitting too high where it looks like a monster truck.

also, no rubbing issues at all. it's just beautiful. If you want more pics, you can prolly find some of my ride at socalcivic. u can just PM me there or something if u want me to send u pics so u can see...i have a 98 civic EX coupe with tein s-techs and same wheel size. U can see a pic of my car in my sig too, if it helps u any :)

sounds good torga3ight...im getting my rims in about 2 weeks and there 205/40/17 and i have the s-techs on right now so from what you say i should be good:D
