Ive got a 2001 LX with stock wheels, how much should I lower it 1.5 or 2.5", and a on either a 16 or 17" wheel?

 

1.5 ..2.5 would be a little much.

 

get some tein S-Techs, if im not mistaken they do 1.9, so you can have some middle ground between the 2.5 and 1.5

 

yea tein s-tech seems to be the choice of MANY...and they are good springs too.

 

How much are s-tein? Are talkin' only for spring or struts & springs?

I've got Tokico HP with springs. They will lower 1.4" front and 1.25 rear, which is O.K> for me.
What is your opinion?

if you want a good number, i'd say go for 1.5", i've got 2.5" and it's a little much for a 6th gen

I have the S-techs and they drop 1.5-1.9 depending on the car....there real nice smooth ride with nice handles...cheap on ebay check out buyer jdm-in-stock i had a real good experience with them....16s all the way man especially if you have vtec...no vtec id go with 15s causeyour 17's would just be taller and the same width thus reducing your power...not to mentionlikely torub with the drop
