The inside of the wheels are up against the calipers. [&:] Any way around this problem?

 

Isn't this what spacers are meant for? I'm probably wrong. Good luck with it. Don't give up the fight though. Those HX wheels are well worth it.

 

I thought that but how would I know what size spacers to get? Hell, I don't even know where I'd get them...

You need 1/4" spacers and you can get them at any autoparts. They slide over your stock lugs and then you just put your wheels on top of them. I'm running HX wheels on my 91 but i got them from a guy with a 97 civic and that's what he had running to make them work.

 

Good looking. I always thought they were some expensive piece you had to get froma wheel shop.

 

I was under the impression that 1/4" aka 6mm spacers would not leave enough thread for the wheels to be safely mounted...

 

They aren't "spacers" in the way that you understood it in...they bolt up to your lugs and have their own set of lugs that you bolt the wheels to

 

no place around here has anything like that...

 

I'm pretty sure I saw that in a catalogue somewhere....may-be it was in minitruckin' though...
