installing drive axle

I took the castle nut off of the lower control arm but I can't seem to get the steering knuckle off of it too

My car is taken apart in the driveway.

Please help!

You need to get a ball joint removal tool. Rent one.
The ball joint removal tool slides on over the control arm and pushes out the ball joint.
