Locking lug nuts
Does any have any experience with the locking lug nuts? How well do they work? My wheels were stolen and I am going to put new ones on but I would like to do everything I can to avoid having them stolen again.

RE: Locking lug nuts
You get a pack of locking lugs (come with 4 lugs and a key) Then you replace on lug on each wheel of the car with a locking lug that you just bought. So each wheel will have one locking lug.
These packages come with a key, or adapter, that goes over that locking lug that allows you to use a tire iron. Any car place like Advanced Auto, Autozone, Checker, Napa... will have them. Know that these aren't fool proof. Thieves stall have was of getting around the locking lugs, but it is definitely a deterrent. |

if your in a high theft area, get four sets, and put one of each on each tire, so it takes for keys to remove one tire!

I have them on my wheels since i live in NYC and ive seen cars in my area on bricks before. They will help keep your wheels on your car :)

RE: Locking lug nuts
just make sure you keep those keys with you incase u get a flat tire. it would sure suck to blow a tire and not be able to get that wheel off.

RE: Locking lug nuts
Since my car didn't originally come with lug nuts when I did the stud conversion I picked up a set of Muteki's... they're light as crap and use a special socket.
