Default locking lug nuts, arnt all keys the same??

since im going to be putting my rims on soon im looking for some locking lug nuts..i found a bunch of different ones at local stores, but my question is...arnt all the keys the same?, theres like 10 packages of locking lug nuts on the shelf and they all look like the same design..i no different companys make different styles of locking lug nuts but if its from the same company they all look the same...so are they?

THANKS!!!

I used to have some autozone lug nuts(locking) on my car. In about a year and a half the lug nuts rusted and i took them off. My mom's car has had locking lug nuts since she got the car (9 years ago) and they are still looking fine. The lugs were the ones that came with the car, they sell them at the Honda dealership and those are the ones i would recommend. As for if the keys are the same, i don't know but i would guess that that they are different b/c what would be the point of having lockign lugs if the keys are readily available.

areyou getting aftermarket rims or Honda alloy rims? I ask because the Honda rims require a ball seat lug and aftermarket will vary between ball and flat lugs.
Honda sells thier lugs for just under 60.00

I would suggest buying them at Discount Tire Direct or Tire Rack. They'll ship the right ones for your make/model.

and i dont get what you mean with the ball seat lug
The OEM lugs when viewed from the side have a rounded "Ball" shape to them (the side that goes towards the rim)
The honda rim requires this style to seat properly. Aftermarket usually have a flat "squared" off bottom. Different style lugs would be required (all lugs) for proper seating and torque.

They also come in a conical shape...Pics to help
Looks like "tuner" lugs come with a small conical end.
