Default Low-Pro Pressure.

Yeah i was driving down the road yesterday and finally noticed that my car was riding really rough. so i took it home and checked the pressure and it read about 45-46 psi. but the tire said recommended psi was 50. and thought to myself and said wow that's alot. and my dad came out and we got into a conversation about it and he finally said take some pressure out and put the psi to 30 so i said wow that's quite a bit. well me and him drove on the bumpiest road we could find and omg if that car doesn't ride smoother than it used to i was going to shoot myself in the foot and i didn't. the car ride's a hell of alot smoother and has a signifigantly low amount of noise coming from the tires. well i thought i would just share my good fortune with you all.

P.S. i need insulation for my car, Where can i find some.

Hah...just went through all of this....
Most people (3-4 other sites) with low pro tires are shooting for 38 front and 34/36 rear. This is HOT pressure..after you have the tires warmed up. Filling cold wil be 2 or 3 lower.

mmmmm ya know Neon there are those times in your life when you have revelations! Well this is one of them...I've ALWAYS put 3-5 less psi (hot) in tires then what is printed on the sidewall. And I've always looked at the stickers on the cars and said meh WTF, it's printed on the tire! Well the above might explain why ALL of my cars have handled and ridden differently than everybody elses! Geez what an idiot I've been for years! LOL Oh well Guys I'm claiming the title of the forum's absent minded professor...mmmm naaa how bout absent minded pig! (my job and all for those who don't getit!)
