Default lowering info

well I was wondering i am thinking about lowering my car next spring i was just wondering wha tissues I may end up with i havea 02 civic coupe plus wha tsize wheels to get I like 17 cause they fill the wheel wells better I think it lok sfunny with no wheel in the well at all i wan tto avoid that as much as possible I only want to drip like 1.75" I know I may need a camber kit adn stuff but how does that work anyway I an very curious about this I am relaly lookin ginto it plus will I gain any handlying my car tends to float when takin gturns

With 17's if you want a comfortable ride I'd suggest going 1.5 drop. I have an 02ex and in my gallery you can see it dropped 1.6" with 16's on. It's a nice drop.

^ that really depends on how you want it to ride, lower you go, the stiffer and more performance you'll get but the comfort of the ride will suffer.

hey chemira where did you get tha tintkae manifold I wan ton efor my car ppl told me the plastic one tha tcomes on it is the only one you can get so it cant be boosted but i believe that the d17a1 and d17a2 have the same head is this true can my car be boosted over 4 psi

^ first, it CAN be boosted, just not with huge amounts of boost. As for the difference in the heads besides the A2 having VTEC I'm not really sure if there is any other difference. Check out the DIY section and the write I did on that manifold swap.

ok I will thanx man but does anybody actually make a intake manifold for the d17a1 yet . And again will 1/5" drop need a camber kit adn stuff
