Default Lowering My Civic I NEED YOUR HELP!

Ok, I'm really new at this so please I need the help I could get.I have a 4 door civic lxg 2002 with front and rear bumper lip with a black widow 2 sideskirt.
Now, I want to lower this baby to atleast 1"to 1.7"! I need your help on what product should I buy and will it work for a 4 door... and please specify any other things I need to buy(other than springs)
to complete the task... and please explain what those products do(im sorry im really new at this and I dont want to get ripped of by the mechanics).
And please explain the difference between the 2 products below(link).. why is the other more expensive? I really dont have the budget to spend $800 on the kit! $200 sounds great from my pocket.

lol well ur problem here is that the first one are just lowering springs, the second product has springs and new shocks.....for that amount of drop 1.7 inches, you do not need new shocks and can just slip them over ur stock ones, replacing the springs u have on there now. There is nothing else you will need to buy in regards to suspension, but if you are going to be installing them urself u will need a spring compressor from autozone, which you rent and it ends up being free cuz they give u ur money bak wen u return the compressor and some WD40. Now as for those 2 links, those springs are fairly expensive for what you want....ebay is the cheapest, but if you dont wanna deal with ebay hastle, http://www.procivic.com/pages-produc...h-springs.html
get those, they loweer 1.7 inches and are sworn by from most HCF memmber and are cheaper....hope this helps!

are these for a daily driver, or will you be takin your Civic out to a track? I've heard sometimes aftermarkte shocks are too wiggly for low daily driving speeds, and that alot of money if you just want to lower your car a little bit and are not too worried about handling perfromance. For DD, the stock shocks will do just fine .

Better shocks WILL make the car ride/handle better. Your stock shocks aren't properly valved for really stiff springs. Adjustable shocks are the best choice because they will allow you to dial in the damping forces and better control the suspension movement.
