Lowering question
If I have the stock rims and tires on my 01 civic ex can I lower the whole car 1.5" safely with out it interfering with turning abilities. The front wheel wells look like they would be a bit cramped
Quick note I have a sedan and i was reading up but I wasn't sure if it is entirely true, but will the Sedan not lower as much as the coupe? I was thinking about getting a set of Tein S-techs, or shoudl I find a set of coil overs to go with my stock shocks, or will the ride be incredibly bumpy?
well..you dont want coilovers and stock shocks, they wont go toughter well...and do you plan on dropping your car alot or a little, do you want to spend alot?, if you get coils..for a good set its going to cost you like 500+, dont cheap out because it will be a ruff ride, but if you just want a nice little drop to make it better in the corners and lower it a little without blowing the bank, you can get some springs and shocks for like 200 or a bit more and have a really nice ride..i have s-techs on mine and its not to low no wheel turning problems, do a little search on here for springs..there are lots of different set ups that have been discussed
I just wanted about a 1.5-2inch drop at the most. Will the S-techs work well with stock shocks or should I not bother getting springs unless I am going to get the shocks also? Trying not to spend to much right now saving up for my turbo and about to buy an exaust.
Do you know If the lowering rate is the same on coupes and sedans?

here are a few people who have installed them on here, you can see what all the discussion were in each thread and see how the pics are of before and after, Yes s-techs are designed to work with your stock shocks..also, do a quick seach on here, type in "s-tech" and you will see all the other threads about them
