yeah i got a pair or 17 inch 5 spoke chrome rims that came with the car, they have the fake 2 piece look bolts which are plastic and are scratched like crazy, n all the chrome is peeling off. i already got new rims but is there n e way i could like take off the chrome and paint them my self, preferably black. n ditch the fake bolts. i just wanna see if i could make them look better n maybe even keep them or sell if they dont look good

you could always call up X to tha Z and hell take that **** to WCC and fix your rims, he'll probably make it so that you have a water fountain in your rims too!!! ohhh pimp my ride, never gets old.

 

i just wanna take the chrome off with a metal brush that goes on the grinder, use the dremmal to smooth, prime in paint, u think it will stay?

get a sandblaster, and blast the hell out of them. then paint it with a bunch of coats of wheel paint.

i got a siphon-type blaster and a 30 pound bag of nice fine grit sand for about 20 bucks at home depot.

 

Look for a local Paint stripping shop and get those bitches stripped....

Then buy some cans of Rim Paint and your done!

 

call up a paint shop and see what theyd charge to paint em......if its too much then sandblast and paint urself.
