Default NEW BRAKES PROBLEM!!

so i just got new brakes on my 2001 Civic ex and it seems that when i push in the clutch in neutral i stay in place. even if im on an incline. And when i accelerate its like the calliper is hugging the rotor or something. and i smell the ever so pleasant smell of new brake wear. now my question is. Is this normal and is something that will go away as the brakes wear in. or should i take it somewhere to get it checked out?

First put the front end and then rear end on stands and figure out which wheel(s) do not turn freely. Do you have drum or disc brakes in the rear?

It sounds like you have air in your lines. Did they get bled properly?
