New Suspension & Alignment Q.

So I'm finding myself crazy busy these days, and in the foreseeable future will only have enough time to do one end at a time. So my plan is, do the rear shocks, and then in the next break, do the front struts and immediately take it to get aligned when I'm done.
I haven't had to with other cars I've had, but my question is, if I do the rear end, and I going to need an alignment, or will I be good until I start to mess with the front end?
Thanks!

should always get alignment done after doing anything to the suspension.

strut and springs really do not take long, if you have time to do one side you can probably do the other, if you cannot then either try to get a lifetime alignment deal (nice to have anyway and usually costs the same as about 3 alignments). Or you can just drive without alignment but you will be wearing the tires down.
