You might want to say what car you have.... but that will probably be fine

you won't feel a bit difference, it's basically the same sectional tread diameter, with 10 more mm of width (which is not the same as tire contact area, which is what really counts.) i run 195/55/R15's because their slightly lighter, and give a tad more comfort depending on the tire material and brand.

the compound of the tire will be more important than the width, esp if its only going from 195 to 205.

tire pressure affects handling more so than width as well.

If you have a pre-'06 Civ, 205/50-15s will be good. They're not too wide to fit stock wells and the turbo will likely make any slight increase in weight a non-issue. People say there are other factors affecting handling, and they're right, but it doesn't necessarily mean 205s won'toffer better dry traction than 195s, especially assuming you'll be upgrading the compound and running proper pressure. The slightly taller diameter may also make your speedo accurate, as Civs seem to often read high with stock-diameter tires.I say go for it...if you're looking to keep the 15" rims and they're wide enough. The extra tire width may help protect your rims from curb-rash too.

if u have 15" wheels on a '95 coupe, u'll need to stick with a 50-series(not 55).
