lowered or stock suspension?
and where is it rubbing? front rear, during dips, or dips while turning, or just turning at slow speed? the tire size looks ok tho the wheels are 7.5 mine are 7wide and i dont rub in the front with stock suspension and only slightly rubbed when lowered on my TEIN Stech springs in the front when turning and hiting a dip, tho i did have to roll the rear fender lips to make them clear when i had the car lowered on the stech springs...... |
RE: new wheels rubbing-need opinions
With a +40 offset with 7.5" wide wheels, I'm guessing you're probably going to rub when you lower it... you can roll the rear fender lips, but that's about all you can do short of getting new wheels (again).
(and addiction, he isn't rubbing yet, he wants to know if he will be rubbing) |

New wheels with proper fitment..... what a concept.
I worked for Schwab's for 10 years. This was MANY years ago, and as you can see there are still a few guys in these stores that do not know how to do plus fittment. They calculate the correct tire size but pay little to no attenntion to the specs on the wheel. 99% of the "help my wheels rub" posts you read here, are from improper wheel fittment. |
