opinions on wheels

im going to be getting black rims for my black 99 ex but i dont really want to have them on during the winter and do any damage to them so im thinking about getting these black hubcaps to replace my OEM ones for a couple of months.

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

think they would look alright? other thoughts?

thanks

honestly, it'd probably just look better if you took the hubcaps off completely and rocked some steelies. hubcaps never look good. I imagine you could spend that 50 bucks on something much better than ...erm... hubcaps. *bleh*

A wire wheel attached to a drill or steel wool, remove as much rust as possible, then use rust oleum or other rust preventive paint.

If you are able to use or have a sand blaster, consider blasting the wheels then paint.

Also, there are polish type liquids which claim to remove rust such as Evapor-Rust and Magica. You wipe on, let sit, then wipe off. Depending on the amount of rust will determine if the rust will remove easily with a cloth or you may still need some steel wool.
