Default Piston Rod top lug nut

i hate to keep buggen about the lowering springs stuff, but i just read on the tein manual not to put the old lock nut back on the piston rod. if thats the cas, where can i find a new lock nut? and how strong dose it have to be?

it should come with the struts, or at least mine did. if not just get the specs on the factory one and get another just like it. it should fit. you arent supposed to reuse lock nuts after they have been taken on and off multiple times because they lose their locking qualities.

well, im only replacing the springs. not the struts/shocks.ill go to the honda dealer and get them from them.

i just reused mine....
my threads looked good and felt tight so i just reused them...
but if you really want o rthink you need to replace them then go buy some from the dealership.... im sure they have some instock!

Price them at a hardware store first. Look at Grade 8.
