Default Possible wheel choices

Hey all,
I'm new to this forum. Recently, I just upgraded from my 2006 piece of **** impala to a 2012 Honda Civic LX coupe with manual transmission. I love the car and keep it looking pristine. (I enjoy detailing cars). A couple weeks ago, I had tints installed.. (nothing crazy.. 35 on the driver and passenger windows, and 20 on the small port hole window in the back as well as the back window of the vehicle.) What I would really like to get are wheels.. I don't want anything crazy but 17 or 18s would look pretty rad. I don't know what you guys know of that looks good, and is affordable. Also, maybe some of you have wheels you would sell? Thanks!

Be careful with weight. Some wheels are much heavier than others and heavy wheels will

a) weaken acceleration

b) produce longer stopping distances

c) produce a harsher ride

I look at tirerack.com (weights are listed) and Discount Tire (You may have to ask about specific wheel weights. Tirerack lets you see what the wheels look like on your vehicle - that definitely helps. IMO 18s are too big for a Civic.
