Anyone have these, or know anything about em? I have to redo my brakes anyways (pads and rotors) so i was thinking of getting these. Opinions?

 

they're fine, i looked into them a long time ago, but i have a dx without abs, so i would have to convert my car to abs if i wanted to get them. if you have an ex with abs equipped, you should be fine, and you might want to think about upgrading your master cylinder if you do do it.

 

ive got a a set of brembo's and i use mine without ABS but it gets kinda hairy when i gotta stop fast..lol

 

So they work well then? But lock up under heavy breaking? Thats kind of to be expected i guess though. These are next on my list of things to do after i get up the 400 or so to get them and new pads. Any suggestions on pads?

 

Remember that these may weigh more than the stock rotors, so the first thing I'd do is ask PowerSlot about that. You could be trading larger clamping area for harsher ride and higher rotating mass. PowerSlots DO make excellent rotors. I have a set of cryo-treated PowerSlots on my 01 C5. Just make sure the larger diameter and weight are worthwhile. BTW, PowerSlot recommends Hawk pads.
