Default question......

So I've had my car for about a month now,[(Honda Civic Si)D16]. And I'm noticing that my car is VERY "bumpy", every little bump a hit feels like a huge pothole, not the smoothest and most pleasent ride. I was wondering what i could do to fix this? Or is it enevitable when your car is lowered? Do strut bars help this at all? or are they just for cornering? Is there anything i can do to fix this problem? maybe its my rims? 15' Acura rims. Any suggestions would be helpfull thank you.

Sounds to me like one of two things is going on. Either the previous owner cut the springs, or it was dropped on a cheap set of coil-overs.

No, Strut bars will not help, like you said those improve cornering. Considering you're running 15" acura rims with (probably) a decent amount of rubber, that too is NOT the problem. The issue is definitely in the shock/spring, can you get a pic?

that only thing that you are ruining is the stock struts if they arnt aftermarket which they sound like they arnt... dent setup would be maybe 400-600 for a pretty decent kit
