Default quick release for rear upper strut bar?

Anybody rig up a quick-release for the upper rear strut bar, if they need to use the trunk to haul stuff?

I was thinking wing nuts...but since these are bolted onto the shock mounts I would think this would make any sort of quick-release system kind of hard, or at least a pain on a weekly basis...

thanks

for the Bomz Racing one, u just use an allen key and wrench and within a minute u can pull the bar out. the mounting points are still attached to the car, but those dont take up any room in the trunk anyways..

I know the one I had before you just had to undo the bolts and the bar would come out but the mounts would stay there. It was by APC.

Good to know...does anyone know if the ebay ones work this way too? The ones where you get the set of 4 for like 60 bucks?

Ok ok don't flame here on them I figure something is better than nothing, from whats on here they've appeared to get pretty decent reviews anyway, this is my DD on a budget so thats where I'm going hopefully...

thanks so far

There are tons on eBay, which ones? Don't worry, most people get theirs on eBay.

It looks like?? you could make just the bar quick release, and the mount stay, but a second opinion would be nice before I pick them up. I guess I could email the dude too, but they might not get the question...

you can make your own quick release preaty easily... just buy the good old ebay brace thats what i did... and then take the side piece to your local hardware store... and find some pins for them... not sure what ya realy call them but same type as a trailer hitch uses.. simple pin and then a cotter pin to hold the thing inplace....

hardest part will be finding a pin thats snug enough to work good.... or buy a pin thats alittle larger and drill the holes out to fit perfectly!!!!!!!
and thier ya go.... instead of a bolt and nut its a pin and cotter pin..

i got a ebay rear brace but i never used mine cause of my subwoofer box setup i built... i thought about cutting thru the box to mount the brace like it should... but just havent felt like touchen the setup at least until i buy my new amplifier
