rear tie bar installation question

I just got a front and rear strut bar installed in my car and I also have the rear lower tie bar waiting to be installed. I lifted the car today and saw where it goes, but i was nervous to take the 2 bolts out thinking the control arms and the other stuff attached to the bolt would just fall as soon as i removed the bolt. If they fall down, are they easy to set back in position? or do they not even fall and im just being paranoid over nothing?

RE: rear tie bar installation question

chances are they wont fall out completely, the bushings hold them pretty snug up agenst the subframe. just place the car up on jack stands high enough that thewheels arnt touching the ground.they will tho move a bit, which will mean lining up the holes for the bolt might be a bit tricky. still, its pretty easy and straight forward. i'd suggest having an extra hand to help u line it up. if u have a tq wrench, tq those bolts to 40ft lbs.

thanks ej6buddy, you really helped blatin with his question. He can install the tie bar with assurance that he doing something pointless to his car.

oh p.s. blatin, don't worry when I took those bolts off nothing moved, at all. Have fun with the install and ignore ej6, he's ALWAYS hating.

i'm not even gonna start with you, i just stated my opinion on it, JUST like everyone else does, my opinion just happens to be a fact. and no, what i said isn't even related to "hating".

tie bars help, just its hardly noticeable if at all. their mainly for bling, what makes the biggest difference back down there is a sway bar. i miss my rear lower tie bar, liked the way it looked, but it wont fit with my sway bar back there now. i might get a Beaks bar tho...
