I didn't have any bolts holding mine on...just the caliper held on by one bolt and one pivot, and the wheel held on the studs by lugs. OnceI took the wheel off and pivoted the caliper up, I gavethe rotor a whack with a rubber mallet and it popped right off.My Civ is used though, so it may be missing some small parts like rotor/drum retainers.

If you're having trouble with a bolt, spray as close to the threads as possible with some PB Blaster and let it work. Then try an impact wrench. I wouldn't use just brute force because bolts can break or strip.

What year is your Civic? Mine is a 2001 and has two philips head screws holding the rotors in place. First you remove these screws usually with an impact driver and hammer. Next you will notice two additional threaded holes in the rotors, here you will insert two bolts and turn each a little at a time to get the rotor off the hub assembly.
