Default rough ride on the coilovers

when i got my car it had the coilovers on it. it's my daily driver, and my little one has to ride in it too. as of now it has a 2" drop and i would like to keep it around there, 1.5" would be alright. the ride is too darn stiff, what would i have to do to go back to struts and lowering springs? would it make a difference in the ride quality?

i think the rear has about had it, when i hit a pot hole it "bangs" could i just replace the struts all around with some cheap-o's from autozoneand keep the coilovers? i don't know how these things work, so any info would help!if i raise the car how would i level it out?

just springs will make the ride a little better. but, who makes the coilovers you have on there? and you said they are on your stock shocks/struts right?
