rust on crossed and slotted rotors.

does anyone else get them on there rotors, where the brakes don't touch?, is it cause it's a different type of steel. the way to fix it, was i just painted them to match my blue caliapers.

brake rotors rust up from all the moisture in the air - not a whole lot you can do about it
if i dont drive my civic for a few days - when i get in & drive they make all kinds of noise when i hit them - after about 4 or 5 stops-they clean up & the noise goes away
