Sh!t
For those of you that haven't seen my suspension posts, my car is lower than it was supposed to be and my tires rub bad. Ok, so I put the camber kits on my car. I adjusted them by eye-balling it to hold me over til I get back to my mechanic next week. In the back, it's good. Now I have a little more than an inch of clearance; no rubbing there. In the front... well it used to rub when I took dips or turns, and now it rubs if I drive... all the time. I don't know what to do. Emergency fender roll? I know in my posts I keep talking about it and asking about it (fender rolling), but I can't think of any other alternatives. Any ideas?
Ok, so I adjusted the camber again so that the wheels are slightly tilted in, cause it wasn't as bad like that. So it's better now, I think better than it was at first. Now the problem is that my steering wheel is not straight when I drive straight. My mechanic can easily fix that, right??
take it to any kind of wheel/tire/suspension shop and get it aligned. with that big of a drop the camber AND the toe are prolly way off. the toe isprolly what is making the car not drive straight.
The camber is the thetilt of thewheelin and out as if you were looking at it from front or back.
The toe is the angle of the wheels in and out as if you were looking at it from above.
both affect tire wear if aligned badly and may also help with your rubbing problem

Fender rolling will probably help with the rubbing a little... at least if you roll the fenders, you shouldn't have to worry about them shredding your tires anyway. But definitely get an alignment. Anytime you mess with the suspension you should get an alignment.
saying "it rubs" doesn't tell me what the problem is, unless you say WHERE it is rubbing.
also need to know what year car you have, your tire size, wheel size, wheel offset, what suspension you're using, and how low it is.
can I ask why you bought the camber kit? it sounds like it only made your problem worse.

I bought my rims/ tires from the Tire Rack. I gave them my year, make, and model, and they gave me a selection of rims that were supposed to be ok. 1993 civic ex. The rims are 17x7. The tire size is 205/40 17. The wheel offset I believe is 38mm. I've posted this multiple times in other posts of mine, but no one seemed to care, so I stopped saying it.
Well, in the back the clearance is about right. I bought eibach sportline springs and tokico blue shocks and the springs were advertised at a 1.6" drop. I used to have about 3" of clearance and now I have about an inch and 1/2 in the back. The front on the other hand... there's like maybe 1/4" of clearance, at most 1/2". It rubs in the front bad, I know for sure on the outside, but I'm not sure about the inside
