Default shocks

I own a 94 civic dx sedan and recently bought some oem shocks off of a 92-95 civic hatchback. Anyone know if they will fit in the sedan? I think they will but I have no real answer until I try, just wondering if anyone here would know a thing or two.

yeah, they'll fit. The suspension between 92-00 was inter-changable. I used Si springs from a 2000 model for my 94 EX. So to answer your question, yes, they will work.

How do you determine if the shocks are blown or bad? Something with pushing them on the ground or something?

Just give your car a good push to the ground on the corner that you think the shocks are blown. If the car bounces up and down a good bit, then its blown. If it returns to where it was without too much play, then you're ok.

The shocks are off the car. How would I do that?
