Skunk2 & Tein S Tech Lowering Springs
I am about to purchase lowering springs for my 97 Civic Ex Sedan. My questions are is there a difference in ride quality between Tenzo R,Skunk2, & Tein S Tech lowering springs or will they all pretty much deliver the same performance. My second question is these lowering springs are going to drop my car roughly around 2" maybe less, do I need a camber kit even though im not using coilovers. I plan on using my original factory suspension.

RE: Skunk2 & Tein S Tech Lowering Springs
i don't have much experience with any of those other than the skunk 2, which will lower approximately 2.25/2.5" depending on the actual spring. but the skunk2's are rather rough, and sort of bouncy towards the end of their lifespan. and yes, with any drop more than an inch (give or take a bit), a camber kit and alignment is in order.
and just because a person purchases coilovers, doesn't mean that it requires a camber kit, a coilover simply allows the person to adjust the ride height for race purposes or corner-balancing, and with a harsher than normal spring-rate.
